Fairy tail notsu12/20/2023 While initially thought to have been abandoned by Igneel on July 7, X777, it was actually the day and year Natsu awoke in the future, like the other four Dragon Slayers however, when Natsu woke, he believed that Igneel had abandoned him, not knowing that he had instead opted to reside inside Natsu's body for many years to come. Igneel went out of his way to teach Natsu how to talk, write, and perform his own signature form of Lost Magic: Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Igneel ultimately chose, like four other Dragons of that time period, to seal his damaged soul inside Natsu's body and leap four hundred years into the future, recover his strength with the future's high Ethernano concentrations and kill Acnologia. He also had his signature scarf knitted from Igneel's molted scales by Anna. All five of them met several times a year, when their Dragon parents got together for meetings. With Igneel as his guardian, Natsu became acquainted with Gajeel (with whom he frequently fought), Wendy, Sting and Rogue. During this time, he also met Igneel, however the Dragon chose not to kill him because he loved him extremely so. This caused Zeref to research Magic and its relation to life and death and, much later, with Zeref using his dead body, he was revived as the strongest Demon: E.N.D whose purpose was to kill Zeref. However, Natsu died at a young age alongside their parents, courtesy of a Dragon attack. A character like Natsu is extremely easy to create and play in a D&D setting, and the excitable shonen protagonist might be a fun ride for players to go on.400 years ago, Natsu was born as the younger brother of Zeref, and they lived peacefully in a small village with their parents. Natsu's other goal is to prove the strength of his magic and defeat powerful friends and foes in combat, which he'll find no shortage of in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Discuss this idea with your DM first, as it's something that they could incorporate into the story of their game, even if they are using a pre-made campaign. Natsu's original goal in Fairy Tail was to find Igneel, the dragon who raised him and then vanished mysteriously, which is something that fits easily into most D&D campaigns. He's oblivious to romance, but is extremely loyal to his friends, to the point where he will lay down his life for them. He relishes fighting and loves to prove himself on the battlefield, as well as improve his combat abilities. Natsu is very much the archetypical shonen protagonist. As such, his spell list would benefit from fire bolt, blade ward, light, true strike, burning hands, feather fall, mage armor, shield, enhance ability, enlarge/reduce, levitate, misty step, scorching ray, daylight, fireball, fly, haste, protection from energy, dimension door, stoneskin, wall of fire, telekinesis, globe of invulnerability, sunbeam, true seeing, delayed blast fireball, fire storm, incendiary cloud, sunburst, meteor storm, time stop, and wish. His best choices for Metamagic powers are Empowered Spell and Careful Spell, followed by Quickened Spell and Distant Spell. In terms of playstyle, Natsu's repertoire is dominated by fire magic and spells that enhance his combat abilities.
